Trump Tower Dubai will now allow property buyers to make payments using cryptocurrency, following a new partnership between luxury real estate developer Dar Global and digital payments company Deus X Pay. This move highlights the growing interest in digital currencies among wealthy investors and marks a major step in the luxury real estate market.
Deus X Pay is a licensed provider of stablecoin payment solutions and a regulated Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) based in Lithuania. It will manage crypto transactions for the $1 billion Trump Tower Dubai, the first Trump International Hotel in the Middle East.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, confirmed that the tower will accept Bitcoin and other digital currencies for apartment sales. This reflects rising demand for fast, secure, and borderless payment options in the global high-end property market.
Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, called the project “one of the most ambitious Trump-branded residential towers in the world,” noting its strong architectural and symbolic value both regionally and internationally.
Richard Crook, CEO of Deus X Pay, said, “Dubai has built a strong environment for stablecoins to be used safely for international deals.” He also pointed to a recent Crypto Watch report that predicts a 210% increase in crypto use in the UAE by 2025.
“This is a big moment not just for us but for the global property industry,” Crook added. “Buyers today want quicker payments and fewer delays across borders. We’re proud to offer a regulated system that makes fast, secure transactions possible for luxury properties.”
Trump Tower Dubai will be an 80-storey building offering 2- and 3-bedroom apartments and 4-bedroom penthouses, with prices starting at AED 73 million (around $19.8 million). The tower will also feature the world’s highest outdoor swimming pool and stunning views of the Burj Khalifa.
Accepting cryptocurrency fits into a wider trend in luxury markets such as private jets, yachts, and rare collectibles where digital assets are being used more often to bring modern solutions to traditional industries.
