Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may face a disappointing moment on their 7th wedding anniversary.
As they mark another year of marriage, many people wonder if members of the Royal Family—especially King Charles—will send them anniversary wishes, despite the ongoing tensions.
However, royal expert Jennie Bond says it’s very unlikely they will hear from the UK. In a conversation with The Mirror, she stated, “I very much doubt that there will be anniversary wishes sent from the UK to California.”
To recap, Harry and Meghan stepped away from royal duties in 2020 and now live in Montecito, California, with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Since leaving the Royal Family, the couple has spoken publicly about family issues, which has strained their relationship with the royals.
Recently, Prince Harry has shared his hope to reconnect with his family, especially given King Charles’ cancer diagnosis.
“Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of the security issues, but I would like to reconcile,” Harry said in an interview with the BBC.
So far, the Royal Family has not responded to his offer for reconciliation.
