Samana Developers, which is a UAE-based real estate company, has joined hands with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) to support gender equality in Dubai’s property market.Â
The partnership aims to increase women’s involvement and leadership in the real estate sector.
This collaboration supports DLD’s She Pioneers initiative, which aims to highlight the important role women play in the real estate industry and encourage more women to invest.
The goal of this initiative is to help women become confident investors, decision-makers, and professionals in the sector. Not only this but it also supports Dubai’s broader vision of promoting gender equality and empowering women in all major industries.
As part of this effort, Samana Developers will introduce several programs, including:
- Mentorship opportunities pairing experienced leaders with young female professionals
- Networking events to connect women in the industry
- Specialized training for female real estate agents
- Custom investment packages to support women entrepreneurs in buying property
Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector at DLD, commented:
“Our partnership with Samana Developers is important because it places women’s empowerment at the core of its mission. It supports our goal of building a welcoming environment where women can grow and contribute to Dubai’s real estate sector—one of the key parts of our economy. This reflects the city’s strong commitment to gender equality and the development of female talent.”
Urusa Imran, Director of Business Development at Samana Developers, added:
“At Samana Developers, women make up 48% of our team. We believe that empowering women is essential for any modern society to grow. This partnership with DLD is a big step in turning that belief into real progress. We strongly believe women will help lead the future of real estate in Dubai.”
Through this collaboration, both organizations aim to create lasting change and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global example of inclusive, people-focused development.
