Prince Harry has recently expressed a strong desire to mend his relationship with his father, King Charles. However, sources suggest that his return to the royal family is unlikely without the approval of Prince William and Princess Kate.
A close friend of King Charles shared insights into the ongoing tensions, noting that the King is puzzled by Harry’s repeated public criticism of the royal family. According to the source, as long as Prince William, Princess Kate, and Queen Camilla have influence over the matter, Harry’s return remains uncertain.
Experts believe that if Prince Harry genuinely wants to return to royal duties in the UK, he will need to rebuild trust with Prince William and Princess Kate. Their support is seen as essential to his reintegration into the royal circle.
Royal commentator Helena Chard told Fox News that Prince William is currently dealing with his own personal challenges. She said he does not trust Harry and is unlikely to welcome him back without serious reservations. “William believes Harry and Meghan have acted recklessly and are a risk to the family,” she added.
These comments come shortly after Harry’s public appeal for reconciliation. However, insiders claim King Charles still feels deeply hurt, especially regarding Harry’s criticisms of the late Queen.
Another expert, Jonathan Dimbleby, questioned Harry’s approach, suggesting that publicly attacking the family while seeking reconciliation sends mixed messages.
Despite the strained relationships, some believe Princess Kate may eventually help heal the rift between the royal brothers and play a key role in restoring family unity.
